Medication Management
Regular and frequent appointments with a psychiatrist, tailored to control and alleviate symptoms with the fewest amount of side effects

Individual Therapy
Brief individual therapy targeted at improving functioning, managing symptoms, monitoring medications, and encouraging individuals to take an active role in treatment decisions

Group Therapy
Weekly group for first episode patients designed to improved social skills, increase knowledge about symptoms and medications, to improve functioning, to teach techniques to manage symptoms, and to provide support

Multifamily Support Group
Monthly support group for families of first episode patients seen in the clinic

Case Management & Advocacy
Ongoing involvement with schools, employers, medical care providers, insurance companies etc. to help clinic patients succeed and navigate various community systems

Research
Information also available about ongoing research into psychosis and cognitive disorders being conducted at the UC Davis Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences
